About Sterk Systems

We are a family run business based in Haddenham, Buckinghamshire.

The company’s founder, Harold Sterk has followed in his grandfather’s footsteps by providing a safe means of working at height. In 1937 Arie Sterk, purchased a ‘ladder wagon’ so that he could re-apply the gold leaf to the church clock tower. Take a look at the picture on this page. It was an unusual and eye catching piece of equipment which had the locals gathered round its base to see how it worked and what it did.

Today Sterk Systems is proud to sell the Triangular Bridge System, designed and made by Artilan.b.v. in Holland. Somewhat different in design to the ladder wagon it still provides a modern and safe solution to working at height. The System is supported by two height adjustable supports and creates a span of between 2 and 12 metres. You can even use the individual Bridge units between mobile towers. There’s a winch system so you can assemble everything at ground level and even a Weather Protection system to keep you dry.

Working at height has certainly changed since 1937 but Sterk Systems takes the same pride in its work as Harold’s grandfather did.

With the addition of the ONLINE SHOP to the website Sterk Systems is now making working at height even safer. Supplying ladders, ladder stabilisers, hi-vis jackets and even hard hats – Sterk Systems invite you to take a look around and if you don’t find what you are looking for just give us a call.

Sterk Systems – we are supporting your success!
