About Sterk Systems

“We are a family run business based in Amersham, Buckinghamshire.”

The company’s founder, Harold Sterk has followed in his grandfather’s footsteps by providing a safe means of working at height. In 1937 Arie Sterk, purchased a ‘ladder wagon’ so that he could re-apply the gold leaf to the church clock tower. Take a look at the picture on this page. It was an unusual and eye catching piece of equipment which had the locals gathered round its base to see how it worked and what it did.
